Aquatics Victoria Sports Development Program - Download Brochure

The Aquatic Sports Development Program is a joint initiative between Life Saving Victoria, SEDA and Victoria University, specifically designed for young people who would like to pursue a Sport and Recreation related career.

If you are a year 10, 11 or 12 student you can complete your VCE, VCAL and Certificates III and IV in Sport and Recreation leading to a Diploma of Sport (Development).

Core curriculum involves theoretical and practical experience in sports administration, marketing, fitness, coaching, event/project management, literacy, numeracy and career planning.

The Benefits

The Aquatic Sports Development Program provides:

• an excellent pathway into higher education at Victoria University
• the opportunity to work closely with expert staff at Life Saving Victoria, Swimming Victoria, Surfing Victoria and Yachting Victoria
• an Aquatic Sports Development Pro gram uniform
• use of a notebook computer

Am i eligible?

The program is:

• open to both males and females aged 16-19
• not dependent on sports skill

Location

Programs will be based in sporting venues in Melbourne metropolitan regions.
