The Cricket Victoria Sports Development Program

The Sports Development Program is a joint initiative between Cricket Victoria, Sports Education and Development Australia, partner host schools, and Victoria University, specifically designed for young people interested in a career in Sport and Recreation or other like industries.
 The program offers current year 10, 11 and 12 students the opportunity to complete their education within the Sport and Recreation industry whilst forging a pathway to meaningful employment or further study.

Curriculum Opportunities 
MILO IN2CRICKET Delivery of Cricket Clinics in schools and In2Cricket Centres
MILO KANGA/SUPER 8'S School Visits in conjunction with Cricket Victoria staff
SCHOOLS Placement in Schools to assist staff with P.E. curriculum delivery
PLAY CRICKET PROGRAM Introductory Cricket Clinics for people from diverse cultural backgrounds
ALL ABILITIES CRICKET Introductory Cricket Clinics for people with disabilities
SPORTS TRAINER Sports Medicine Australia - Level 1 Course
FIRST AID Australian 1st Aid - Level 1 Course
COACH EDUCATION & TRAINING Cricket Australia - Level 1 Coaching Course
UMPIRING Cricket Australia Level 1 - Umpiring Course
FEMALE Cric Hit - Assist with administration, coaching and umpiring
TALENT VPSSA, VSSSA - Assist Cricket Victoria staff on match days with talent ID and post-game analysis
 

 Am I eligible?
·          Program is open to students aged 16 -19
·          Selection is not dependant on sports skill 

Location

Programs will be based in sporting venues in all eight Cricket Victoria metropolitan regions.
