 Cricket Victoria Talented Player Program

The Cricket Victoria Talented Player Program is a joint initiative between Cricket Victoria, SEDA (Sports Education & Development Australia), partner host schools and Victoria University, specifically designed for Victoria’s young talented cricketers.

If you are aged 16 to 19 you can complete years 11 and 12 leading to a Diploma of Sport Development whilst developing your skills in an elite environment. Core curriculum involves skill development in cricket and fitness as well as theoretical and practical experience in sports administration, sports management, media, marketing, coaching, event/project management, English, leadership and career planning. 


The Benefits

The Cricket Victoria Talented Player Program provides:

  • elite coaching by Cricket Victoria staff
  • an excellent pathway into higher education at Victoria University
  • access to the elite level training facilities at the MCG

Location

The program will be based at Melbourne University and the MCG.
