Delightful start to 2013 for SEDA Fremantle Dockers student, Cody Grace. Cody was recently selected in the leadership squad for the Subiaco Football Club. His talent on the field, combined with his communication off the field gave him the opportunity to be the youngest leadership squad member.

On Wednesday 21st November the annual SEDA Diploma presentation evening was held at Etihad Stadium. The evening provided a fantastic opportunity to recognise the fine achievements of graduating students, and acknowledge the fantastic contributions made by staff and SEDA’s industry partners which has led to the program being a great success.

Kirsty Lamb has become the third Cricket Victoria Sports Development Programs State Representative, behind Glenn Maxwell and Clive Rose, after making her Vic Spirit Debut against Western Australia in Melbourne two weeks ago. A great reward for the hard work and persistence that she has demonstrated over the last two years as a rookie contracted player.
Former lawyer and current Hawthorn Football Club President Andrew Newbold is set to lead SEDA into an exciting new phase.

On Wednesday 17th October 2012, the SEDA AFL Northcote group had the unique experience of using a state of the art BioMotion centre. The AFL Northcote group have spent 2012 building a successful and opportunity filled network with the Carlton Football Club. This network has provided the group with a number of fantastic opportunities, however this weeks BioMotion session was a highlight as the group accessed a multimillion dollar facility, the only one outside of the USA.
