SEDA Group programs are brought to life through a vision grounded in connection and collaboration.
OUR STORY
Our journey began with a vision to transform education for young people.
In 2007, three educators and an athlete came together to create a hands on, industry-connected learning experience that was truly immersive and community-focused. The goal was to offer a more personalised education model that reflects real-world work environments through experiences, collaboration, and strong relationships.
Since then, SEDA Group has delivered programs to thousands of students across the country in partnership with more than 50 industry and community partners, creating opportunities for young people to thrive in industries they’re passionate about.
More recently — building on the SEDA Model in senior secondary and our early move into diploma pathways — we’ve expanded to microcredentials, tours, and major events and activations, and we’re partnering with like-minded organisations to give more people access to the SEDA Model.

At SEDA, we believe meaningful education and engagement are driven by strong partnerships. Over the past 19 years, we’ve partnered with more than 50 industry and community organisations to deliver our programs in real settings, giving students invaluable experiences and insights into how organisations work.
Across everything we do — from school and post-school programs to tours, microcredentials, and community activations — we work with like-minded organisations to co-create opportunities that are practical, purposeful, and people-centred. Whether it’s designing new learning experiences, expanding access for students, or delivering programs that build skills and strengthen communities, our partnerships are grounded in shared values and real-world impact.
